Tournament Rules

Post  Admin on Mon Oct 18, 2010 7:34 pm

Friday

Spell Casting- No Magical items, No cantrips, no formal, no gases, no scrolls, no potions, etc... only spells in memory can be used. The ring will be a circle with a line down the middle that each caster can not cross. Each caster will give a marshall the spells they have memorized minus the ones they used earlier in the tournament. The marshall will start and call each fight, casters may use any spell in memory to immobilize his or her rival. Once the fight is over the loser will be healed, lifed, freed, etc... The winner will advance in what ever condition he or she is in till they lose or win the tournament.

Saturday

Melee- No Magical items, no gases, no potions, no scrolls, etc... Each warror may bring a suit of armor "non magical", any non magical weapons or non sharpen weapons. Each will enter the ring to do battle to the best of their ability till one of them falls. The loser will be healed and the winner will advance in the condition he or she is in till they lose or win the tournament.

Sunday

Duel- This will be a five tap tournament to show skill of weapon. Each will enter the ring tap a weapon and the duel will be gain till first blow. The Marshall will call each blow and then each will go back to their start then tap and repeat till there is a winner.

If anyone has an questions they can contact me here.

The winner will advance in what ever condition he or she is in

So is this to say that I battle first, then in my third battle I enter with only the spells I had left from my first battle? Whereas participant #3, could have full abilities?

If that is the case, how will the order be determined, as going last could be you in a better predicament?

casters may use any spell in memory to immobilize his or her rival. Once the fight is over

What ends the battle? Immobilization? Due to time effects, like Sleeps, silences, etc? Do those end the battle?

Michael,

Yes, I forgot to state a silencing and sleeping a rival will win you the round. Moving out side of the ring will get you a warning and a restart. If you get three warnings your out. If you cross the line you lose period.

[quote="Admin"]No slays or assassinates, Dodges and Parries may be used./quote]

So Slays/Parries don't work?

For the Melee then will it just be base weapon and prof skills? ... cause Slays are a skill? Just wondering!

having slays does give some of us a huge advantage. only a few can take a 40+ hit and keep going.
